As we close out the year, and welcome 2022 we thought it would be fun to look back on some of our accomplishments over the last year.
We certainly couldn't have done it without you!
Social Media
2021 didn't disappoint with getting 800 new followers to our Paul's Hand Turned Creations page. We also created a new page just for those that love to stitch and hook, and we named it The Stitcher's Hive. This page continues to grow and currently we have about 500 new followers!
We had a lot of fun going live every week on Tuesdays 7:00 PM et on our Facebook page. Several people show up each week to get a glimpse of new products, get a chuckle out of our interaction with each other, and learning about the process of turning.
We had three big live sales on our Facebook page, and we hope to have more in 2022. There is always computer glitches, but we roll with the punches, and have a lot of fun.
Celebrating five years in business in 2021 was such a milestone for us, especially where we also saw a lot of other small businesses close.
Giveaways
Last year we continued with our giveaways and gave away over $400 in products. Our goal for 2022 is to do more with the giveaways as well as partner with some other small businesses to make the giveaways even bigger! We are excited about this joint venture, as we love supporting other small businesses as well.Accolades
What a whirlwind of a year 2021 was for us, but a couple big deals happened.
The first was that we were chosen to be featured on a website called USA Products Only. They had to check out your website to make sure our items were produced in the USA, as well as being a small business. Because of this, and folks sharing our one of a kind items our online presence soared.
The second achievement was when a local newspaper wrote an article about us. We expected it to be a little blurb, but when we viewed it we were stunned that we got the middle two page spread! We were jumping for joy and this showed our local community all about us!
Orders and Events
Although the beginning of 2021 was slow for our local events we didn't give up. By the Fall, all of our major events were opened and we were thrilled. It was great seeing people back out supporting all of the local artists!
Paul certainly kept busy all year with custom orders. Whether it was for the person that wanted a dozen pens with all different colors of resin, to the customer that sent us the wood used on the family farm to create several items so the memories can live on. Paul kept extremely busy!
Custom orders were shut down on November 1, 2021, and Paul got every order out within a month so everyone could receive their order in time to give those one of a kind gifts out for Christmas.
